Fraser has significant international experience in financial services. He has worked in the fixed income, currencies and commodities divisions at Merrill Lynch International in London and at UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong, both roles focusing on institutional clients. Prior to that he was employed as a policy adviser at the Securities and Futures Authority and then the Financial Services Authority in the UK.
Holding law and economics degrees from the University of Otago where he studied from 1987 to 1991, Fraser was admitted to the bar in 1992.
Outside work, Fraser enjoys spending time with his wife and two school age daughters. Fiordland is a favourite family holiday destination. As a tennis tragic, you’ll often find Fraser battling away from the baseline, or at least passing on his enthusiasm for the sport to the younger generation. His community involvement includes roles as a Tennis Otago Board member, where he’s heavily involved in the Logan Park Tennis Centre redevelopment, and as a Board member of the Balmacewen Lions Club.
Joining Bradley Nuttall Otago in 2019, Fraser is motivated to demystify the investment experience for our clients and to give them confidence in their ability to navigate life with peace of mind. He firmly believes that trust and transparency are the cornerstones of investment advice.
